A paradise found for tourists with sweet tooth, this southern jewel is not only known for its old houses, novelty cuisines and breathtaking seascapes but is best remembered for its endless creations of desserts and pastries!

 

Itinerary

Day 01 Manila/Bacolod

Board morning flight from Manila to Bacolod. Transfer to hotel for accommodations.

Start tour with visit at Bongbong’s Panaderia for food demo and tasting of piaya and barquillos.

Proceed to Silay for visit of Balay Negrense and other heritage mansions in the area.

Stop by El Ideal Bakery which is at least 75 years or older in existence. It is already an institution in Silay, baking traditional cakes and pastries in huge wood fired oven located at the back of the counter. The latest addition to its selection offering is guapol pie. Food tasting and demo.

Return to Bacolod City and visit Negros Museum. Tour ends for shopping at Association of Negros Producers (ANP) showroom. (Lunch, Snacks)

















Day 02 Bacolod

Breakfast at the hotel.

Tour starts with two-hour drive from Bacolod City to Sagay in the northernmost tip of Negros

Island.  First stop is visit to Vito Pilgrimage Church, established by the Recollect Friars in the 1800's.  This is followed by boat ride to see the lush Molocaboc Island Mangroves and visit the  Carbin Reef Marine Sanctuary.  View the breathtaking seascape from watchtower.  Weather permitting lunch is served, with typical Negrense cuisine- picnic style , on a sandbar.  There is ample opportunity for snorkeling and swimming around the sandbar after lunch.  Return to Bacolod with stop at squid rings factory in Sagay. Tour ends at the “ Pasalubong Center” in Bacolod. (Breakfast, Lunch)


Day 03 Bacolod/Manila

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free for shopping until transfer to airport to take flight for Manila. (Breakfast)
